The School Education in Bangalore starts from Pre-Primary level. As soon as a child attains 16 months of age she is ready to go to school. These schools also called Kindergarten Schools or Play Schools prepare students for enrollment in Primary School by the time they reach to age of 5. In general Pre-Schools in Bangalore follow Montessori system of Education.

Formal School Education in Bangalore is available in different languages like English, Hindi, Kannada etc. The schooling pattern follows 10 2 system of education.
